Training Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy

These terms apply to consumer enrolments on RoundUp Tech training programmes purchased directly from RoundUp Tech. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and any course-specific information shown at enrolment.

1. Enrolment and your place

Your place is confirmed only when the required first payment has been successfully received and RoundUp Tech has accepted your enrolment. Places are personal to the named learner and may not be transferred without our written agreement.

2. Programme fees

The fee for the October 2026 Data Analyst cohort is £500, payable in full at enrolment through our secure online checkout. Any valid discount or promotion is applied according to the conditions shown at checkout. We will not add undisclosed compulsory fees after enrolment.

3. Your 14-day cancellation right

If you enrol online as a consumer, you will generally have a 14-day cancellation period beginning when the contract is made. If you cancel within that period before any training or other contracted service has begun, we will refund payments received in accordance with applicable law.

If you expressly ask us to begin providing the programme during that 14-day period and delivery has started before you cancel, we may charge a proportionate amount for the services supplied up to cancellation. Any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

To cancel, email training@rounduptech.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use the model cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to. We will refund any amount due within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method you used.

4. Cancellation before the programme starts

In addition to applicable statutory rights, if you cancel at least 7 calendar days before the advertised programme start date, RoundUp Tech will provide a full refund of course fees paid. If you cancel less than 7 days before the programme starts, we will refund sums paid less reasonable, evidenced and non-recoverable costs already incurred in relation to your place. Where practical, we may offer transfer to a future cohort as an alternative, but you do not have to accept a transfer where you are entitled to a refund.

5. Withdrawal after training has started

If you withdraw after the programme has begun, any refund will be assessed by reference to the proportion of the programme already delivered and reasonable non-recoverable costs incurred. We will not automatically retain the whole fee simply because the programme has started.

6. Instalment arrangements

Instalment arrangements are offered only by prior written agreement with the training team. Where an arrangement is agreed, the number of payments, the amount and date of each payment, and the total payable will be confirmed to you in writing before you commit. If you cancel or withdraw, any amount still properly due will be based on the services supplied under these terms, not on the payment schedule.

7. Missed sessions

No refund is normally due merely because a learner misses a scheduled live session that RoundUp Tech delivered as advertised. All live sessions are recorded so that learners can catch up on anything they miss.

8. Changes or cancellation by RoundUp Tech

If we need to move an individual class, we will normally reschedule it or provide an equivalent replacement session at no additional charge. If RoundUp Tech cancels the whole programme before it begins, learners may choose a full refund or, where offered, transfer to another cohort. If we are unable to complete a programme after it has begun, we will offer an appropriate transfer or refund the undelivered portion.

9. Learning materials and intellectual property

Course materials, datasets, templates, handbooks and recordings supplied by RoundUp Tech are for the enrolled learner's personal educational use. They may not be resold, publicly redistributed, uploaded to shared repositories or reproduced commercially without written permission. Third-party materials remain subject to their own licences and copyright terms.

10. Live-session recordings

All live teaching sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled learners of that cohort for catch-up and revision. We will remind learners at the start of each session that it is being recorded. If you prefer not to appear in recordings, you may keep your camera off and take part through chat. Learners should avoid sharing confidential or sensitive personal information during sessions. Recordings are for the personal use of enrolled learners and must not be downloaded, shared or published. We keep recordings until three months after the programme ends, then delete them, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

11. Certificate of completion

A Certificate of Completion is not automatic merely because a fee has been paid. Unless a course states otherwise, learners should attend at least 80% of live teaching and complete the required capstone or equivalent assessed project to receive a completion certificate.

12. Career outcomes

RoundUp Tech provides training, practical exercises, portfolio development and career preparation. We do not guarantee employment, promotion, salary level, interview invitations or any particular career outcome.

13. Learner conduct

Learners are expected to behave respectfully, avoid disrupting live teaching, protect other learners' privacy and use course systems and materials lawfully. Serious or repeated misconduct may result in removal from a session or programme. Any financial consequences will be handled fairly and consistently with applicable consumer law.

14. Complaints

Please raise training concerns first by emailing training@rounduptech.com. We will acknowledge and investigate complaints within a reasonable time and aim to resolve them informally where possible.

15. General

These terms are governed by the law applicable to your contract with RoundUp Tech, without removing any mandatory consumer protections available to you. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. We may update these terms for future cohorts, but will not retrospectively change the agreed core terms of an existing enrolment without a lawful basis.
